Malaysian timing

If you go for a wedding dinner at 8pm, what time will you reach?? I am sure that your answer will not be before 8pm, or worse, before 9 am.

For two days continuosly, going out for dinner with my friends. Said meet at a certain time, let say 6pm. However, every time at sharp 6pm, I was the only one stupidly stand at the courtyard "enjoying" the cold wind. And after 5 minutes, still no one was there and i need to phone everyone to remind them that time is up. After 20 minutes, only can depart, if I am lucky enough.

Okay, to make things clear, i don't mind to wait for one friend, especially a girl, if i am the only one going out with her (ie, dating). But if you are going out with a group of friends, please be punctual. 5 minutes is still okay for me, but 10 minutes is too over. You waste one person's one minute, if there are 10 people, you waste 10 minutes. We can do a lot of stuff in that 10 minutes.

I do accept reasonable excuse, but i believe that saying sorry is still a MUST if you are late. If you know u need a lot of time for preparation, start prepare early. Plan your timing wisely.

A: Eh we need to get there by 6pm. We meet at 5.45pm, k? Since the journey is 10 minutes away.
B: Make it 5.30pm. For Malaysian timing...
A: Lolz...

If you Laugh Out Loud, it is not something funny. We should be ashame with it

DON'T BE LATE

  1. Hey, you blogged about it first! lol

I'm so used to it that I don't feel annoyed anymore. Sometimes I even remind myself to go a little later...

They call me 迟到大王, as in if they go later than me for class, they are really really late.
